In the prestigious context of “Pécs 2010 European Capital of Culture”, Hungary is hosting for the first time the JCE biennial.

The exhibition takes place in a quite original space: an old disused hospital in the city center, rehabilitated into an exhibition area.

That surprising context, along with a very original artwork layout enables visitors to rediscover the JCE artworks from a new angle.

In occasion of the exhibition opening, Pécs 2010 has invited the curators of all partner countries for a meeting of reflection and preparation of the next JCE edition, which will begin in October 2011 in Montrouge.
