I look at architecture as the accumulation of archetypical forms. Shapes, lights, volumes, motion and time entangled on each other create complex unresolved and fascinating situations. Primordial shapes like a circle or a triangle which used to have an accessible psychic meaning from intuitive become arcane when mixed in the mess of human creativity. 

Art allows me the possibility to speak about these situations more vaguely, more allusively and therefore more truthfully. The space between a small and a large rectangle contains the meaning of an uncountable amount of different relationships. I get excited by the processes of research without a scope because this cognitive method does not predetermine the range and scope of all possible discoveries.

The power of the work is to set stones in these investigations while expanding their content and scope each time they are completed. Being my work and my self in a relation of reciprocal exchange I can only give words to my thoughts; the work speaks of its own.

L'architettura filtra attraverso i miei occhi come un' accumulazione di forme archetipe. Sagome, luci, volumi, movimento e tempo aggrovigliati uno sull'altro creano complessi, indefiniti e affascinanti scenari. Forme primordiali come un triangolo o un cerchio che hanno un' immediato significato psichico, mescolati nel disordine della creatività umana diventano oscure, difficili e dal significato apparentemente contraddittorie.

L' arte mi da la possibilità di parlare di queste situazioni in una maniera vaga e allusiva e quindi, forse, in una maniera più sincera. Lo spazio vuoto tra un rettangolo piccolo ed uno grande allude ad una infinita quantità di rapporti e significati uniti da una radice comune. Sono stimolato da modalità di ricerca senza scopo o fine perché sono processi cognitivi che non predeterminano totalmente lo spettro delle possibili scoperte né il loro esito.

Il valore dei lavori risiede nel fatto che rappresentano dei punti di svolta nella ricerca al contempo ampliandone e ridiscutendone lo scopo e la portata. Poiché però io e i miei lavori viviamo in un rapporto di scambio reciproco posso solo dar voce ai miei personali pensieri: loro hanno i loro.
