“Astratta TRE” is the new chapter of a sequence of expositive projects, started in 2011 by
Fondazione Zappettini in Chiavari, with the purpose to provide documentary evidence of
the recent italian abstraction researches.
This group show will be inaugurate on Saturday 8 March (6 pm) and it includes Alan De
Cecco, Alessandro Fabbris, Maria Elisabetta Novello, Salvatore Tulipano, Giorgia Zanuso.
These five artists of the latest generations propose own considerations about space, shape,
method, strichtness and they offer a cross section of no ever unlimited research about
aniconicità.
“With this Astratta’s chapter – Riccardo Zelatore writes, Fondazione Zappettini’s Director
- we have increased the point of view, enganging the most accurate art critics of the latest
generation asking them to introduce an artist in according to the interest field of
Fondazione Zappettini. The result is this group exhibition - for artists and curators; the
viewer has to evaluate it but it shows interesting elements in its planning and freshness of
the proposed solutions”.
The exhibition will be open until May 23, 2014 and it is supported by a catalogue with
critic texts by Paolo Bolpagni (for Salvatore Tulipano), Francesca Guerisoli (for Alan De
Cecco), Flavia Montecchi (for Alessandro Fabbris), Alberto Rigoni (for Giorgia Zanuso),
Federico Sardella (for Maria Elisabetta Novello).

JCE 2013/2015 OPENING

Quite naturally, the city of Montrouge is hosting the first stop of the JCE Biennale 2013 / 2015, with Yann Toma as
the artist guest of honor. On October 16th 2013 in Montrouge, he will create a special lighting of Le Beffroi (8 pm.) which will be visible from Paris.
On the day of the vernissage, an international jury will convene to give out the JCE awards – Crédit Agricole grants to the 3 artists it will have singled out. The jury will be presided over by Marc Partouche, Director of the prestigious Académie royale des beaux-arts de Bruxelles.
JCE - Montrouge
Open daily from Thursday October 17th to Wednesday November 6th from 12 to 7 p.m.
at Le Beffroi, 2 place Émile Cresp in Montrouge. Free admission.
It will feature a series of events and free guided tours every sunday.

TRANSvision : Yann Toma
A l'occasion du vernissage de la Biennale d'art contemporain Jeune Création Européenne (JCE), l'artiste invité d'honneur Yann Toma assure une performance son et lumière sur le Beffroi le mercredi 16 octobre de 20h à 20h30.
Rendez-vous place Emile Cresp.

Cette oeuvre-lumière intitulée TRANSvision sera suivie du vernissage nocturne grand public de la Biennale JCE jusqu'à minuit.
