TIME
What I am today can never be what I will be tomorrow. I can crave and create for the present and the future although I live with the assurance that there isn’t anything I can do to make the past different. What I can do is to think that past onto the future; transform the anguish of having been into the hunger of still being. A new fictional story can spring from experiencing that space-time. What matters is not what has been but rather what can still come out of it.
There is a tension given by time being Time, where hours are counted in minutes, days in hours, days in years and years in centuries; and another time, nevertheless still Time, in which hours do not last minutes and a second can be infinite; where years are almost drawings in mist on windowpanes, as though there wasn’t only a before and after.
And that experience of the opportune moment was the exact moment in which we realize that being time is not limited to counting time and that when counting it, one could do it as if there wasn’t an obvious line that moves things onwards.
O TEMPO
