Fascinated by fire in all its facets, in my work I try to demonstrate how fire and heat can transform matter to create something new.
Fire is the agent of a natural relationship between the microcosm and the macrocosm, it is a dynamic element that generates transformations, it tends to purify all things, elevating them to a higher level of perfection. It is not only an Element of destruction: it also creates at the same time.
The use of marble, an almost fireproof material, allows me to create the illusion of the combustible material par excellence: wood.
Affascinata dal fuoco nelle sue mille sfaccettature realizzo lavori su come il fuoco, il calore trasformano il materiale per creare qualcosa di nuovo.
Il fuoco è lʼagente di relazione naturale tra il microcosmo e il macrocosmo, è un elemento dinamico in quanto, generando trasformazioni, tende a purificare tutte le cose, elevandole ad un livello di perfezione maggiore. Elemento non solo di distruzione ma di creazione allo stesso tempo.
L’utilizzo del marmo, un materiale pressochè ignifugo mi permette di creare l’illusione del materiale combustibile per eccellenza: il legno.
