The work should be an appreciation of its core material.
It doesn't need to dress up to be seen.
Something that is overlooked is still there.
It has its own time, which I don't want to define.
The room, the time, the viewer, the work, is like a microcosm.
There's no hierarchy and there are no separations.
Whatever happens becomes part of the work.
Die Arbeit soll eine Wertschätzung des Materials sein.
Sie braucht sich nicht zu verkleiden.
Etwas das übersehen wird, ist immer noch da.
Es hat seine eigene Zeit, die ich nicht bestimmen will.
Der Raum, der Betrachter, die Arbeit, sind ein Mikrokosmos.
