The methodology described by R. Smithson is that of the site-seer, visitor, observer and reporter of the landscape. My projects seek to discover and consciously document landscapes and the people who live around them, making essential the sum of landscape and portrait and the photographic travels between them.
Walking has long been an aesthetic practice, categorically similar to fasting or other, sacrificial matters of endurance. With that practice in mind, I propose albums with waste landscapes on the fringe of various cities, spaces for new discovery or eternal oblivion and, lately, an ambulation game where individuals and landscapes share the limelight.
The pictures and descriptions become a record of the who, how and why around me, bringing into question the relationship between landscape and society and the management of spaces and emotions of the contemporary world.

La metodologia descrita per R. Smithson és la del site-seer, el visitant, el contemplador i relator del paisatge. Els meus projectes pretenen descobrir i documentar conscient i activament els paisatges i les persones que l’habiten. Un procés que sovint fa essencial la suma de paisatge i retrat amb els conseqüents vincles fotogràfics que s’estableixen entre ells. Caminar ha esdevingut una pràctica estètica, una metodologia sacrificada duta a terme amb actitud de resistència. Amb aquesta praxis en ment he proposat àlbums de residus paisatgístics, de franges a ciutats, d’espais per a una nova descoberta o per l’oblit etern i, darrerament, un joc de deambulació on individus i paisatges comparteixen protagonisme. Els retrats i descripcions són la voluntat de deixar constància del qui, el com i el perquè m’envolta. Una aproximació des de la imatge per qüestionar la relació entre paisatge i societat, una revisió a la gestió d’espais i emocions del món contemporani.
